Mrs. Ada Keys Posey, daughter of late Levy and Essie Keys was born June 16, 1906 in Westmoreland County.
She departed this life at 8:30PM on February 23, 2010 at Golden Living Center Nursing Care in Fredericksburg, VA.
She received her early education in Monroe Hall Public School. During her youth, she confessed faith in the Almighty and joined new Monrovis Baptist Church in Colonial Beach, VA.
In her later years, she moved to Washington DC, worked and came back to Colonial Beach and married the late Robert Posey. She then joined the First Baptist Church of Colonial Beach.
She was the former President of the Usher Board of First Baptist Church of Colonial Beach, she leaves to mourn her loving daughter, Genoila Keys Gray; her husband Joseph N. Gray, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and 1 niece Ruth Annette Grant of Colonial Beach, VA; 3 nephews, 3 great nieces, 8 great nephews and a wealth of cousins and other relatives.
